Endless Violence in the Philippines? Perspectives on the Conflict in Central Mindanao

The conflict between the Philippine government and the rebels of the Muslim minority has been plaguing Mindanao, an island in Southern Philippines, for more than 50 years. Internationally as well as in the other Philippine provinces little is known about the dire living situation of thousands of people affected by the violent conflict. In this publication, people from the Philippines share their perspectives on the conflict and on the situation in their home country emphasizing the diversity of perceptions of the conflict.
