Dooz is a multimedia news platform based in Nablus, Palestine, aiming to enhance local journalism and civic engagement. The platform focuses on community issues, peace journalism, and conflict-sensitive reporting, often involving young journalism students from the region. With forumZFD, Dooz trains new journalists in covering local stories non-violently, addressing issues such as disability, children's welfare, and the effects of conflict on daily life.

About the speaker:

Jalaa Abuarab is the Editor-in-Chief of Dooz. Alongside her role at Dooz, Jalaa works as a media consultant, specializing in civic education, elections, and digital rights. She has been instrumental in developing innovative reporting methods, including ethical journalism and combating fake news, to strengthen civil society in Palestine.
