The Lebanese Civil War and postwar period generated countless human rights violations, most of which remained unaddressed. This has led to what many scholars have called 'state-sponspored amnesia', but several civil society actors have engaged in initiatives to not forget the past.
This analysis accompanied the online database initiative, aimed at mapping such projects Lebanon.
